When reporting statistical findings in research articles, care should be taken to present the data in a clear, understandable and consistent manner. p values, confidence intervals (CI) and other statistical indicators should be expressed in accordance with relevant guidelines and appropriate rounding rules. In general, p values should be given to two decimal places. However, if the first two digits are zero, three decimal places should be used (e.g., p = .002 should be reported instead of p < .01). Similarly, p values close to the commonly used .05 threshold for statistical significance may be shown to three decimal places (e.g., p = .053). p values below .001 should be indicated as p < .001 without specifying the exact number. All measurement units must be organized in accordance with the International System of Units (SI). f) Results: The results obtained in this section should be presented clearly and concisely. Data should be supported by figures and tables. g) Discussion: The results obtained using literature data are compared and discussed. h) Conclusion: The findings drawn from this section and recommendations made in this regard are included. ı) Tables: Tables should be included in the main text. | i) Figures and Figure Descriptions: If there are figures in the article, they should be in JPEG format and sent separately. Figures should not be embedded in the main text. If a figure has sub-components, each sub-component should be sent separately and labelled with descriptions. To support the descriptions, thick or thin arrows, arrowheads, stars, asterisks and similar symbols may be used on the images. Furthermore, any information in the images that could reveal the identity of individuals or institutions must be removed. Each figure must have a resolution of at least 300 DPI; images must be clear, sharp and easily legible. Figure captions should be provided collectively at the end of the main text. References to figures should be made within the text and figures should be numbered sequentially in the order in which they first appear in the text. j) Abbreviations: All abbreviations used in the article must be defined both in the abstract section and in the main text upon their first use. This definition should be provided in parentheses after the word and used consistently throughout the article. k) Product identification: If any drugs, chemicals, devices or programmes were used in the study, their product name, code, manufacturer and, if applicable, company details should be provided in parentheses. m) References: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references used in the article. When citing, it is recommended to prioritise recent articles. It is important to use effective and authoritative publications on the subject. References should be formatted according to the Vancouver style (https://library.viu.ca/citing/vancouver ). In-text citations are displayed as superscripts after the note at the end of the sentence, in the order they appear in the text, in accordance with ICMJE standards. Example: Geographical distribution of parasites depends on a number of factors such as climatic factors, environmental-ecological conditions, socioeconomic level, infrastructure and socioeconomic status or the educational level of the population.1 If multiple sources need to be referenced within the text, the numbers are separated by commas (without spaces) or the range is indicated by separating the first and last numbers with a hyphen. Example: Geographical distribution of parasites depends on a number of factors such as climatic factors, environmental-ecological conditions, socioeconomic level, infrastructure and socioeconomic status or the educational level of the population.1,2 Example: Geographical distribution of parasites depends on a number of factors such as climatic factors, environmental-ecological conditions, socioeconomic level, infrastructure and socioeconomic status or the educational level of the population.2-5 The rules to be followed for the reference list at the end of the article are given below.
